Children's Album of the Year Honors for Big Idea!
  (June 2007) April 22 through April 27 marked the Annual Gospel Music Association Week in Nashville, Tennessee, and VeggieTales made quite a splash!
Early in the week, VeggieTales got the Nashville Convention Center all a-buzz as they showcased music from the upcoming movie, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything -- A VeggieTales Movie with a show-stopping Live Show performance which included the songs "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" and "Jolly Joe's."
As exciting as that may have been, the best was yet to come -- the big event Wednesday night was the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. It was there Big Idea grabbed the Dove Award for Children's Music Album of the Year with their release VeggieTales Worship Songs . In addition, Big Idea was recognized for honors they received earlier in the week as this year's Grady Nutt Humor Award recipient, given in recognition for their achievement and impact in children's media.
Wednesday was also a big night for Bob and Larry as they got to present Dove Awards along-side of Nicole C. Mullen, honoring some of the nation's premiere Christian Radio Stations.
