Two pieces of rope, three water bottles (filled).

Your water bottles are actually containers for a very volatile acid. The acid is so sensitive that even the sound vibrations from talking may trigger an unwanted chemical reaction. So no talking is allowed. Rolling the bottles or touching the sides with your hands may also set off the chemical reaction. Fortunately, you have safety carriers (ropes) to move your bottles to a secure storage location. Your task -- move three bottles from your kitchen floor to the tub in your bathroom using only the ropes. Remember, no talking. Shhhhhh!

What was difficult about getting the bottles cradled onto the ropes
without talking? What other methods of communication did you rely on?
How could you use these methods in other situations?
