Coin, watch.

Tell participants to form a tight circle. Choose a player to be in the center. Have participants in the circle bend their elbows, extending their fists into the circle face down. After the center player closes his or her eyes, give a coin to a participant in the circle. The goal of the center player is to identify who has the coin. The goal of the participants in the circle is to pass the coin without the center player finding it. To pass the coin, a participant taps another player's closed fist. This player turns up his or her hand, opens it, receives the coin, and then closes and turns his or her hand back down. Fake passes are allowed. Distracting noises are permitted. The center player is allowed three guesses. Participants have 2 minutes to pass the coin around to every member in the circle. Play several rounds so each person has a chance to be in the center.

Did you feel uncomfortable standing in the center? Why did you feel that way? What other kinds of situations make you feel uncomfortable? What are good ways to handle this feeling? |
