Pen, paper.

Team up in pairs. Sit back to back. One person will be the explainer, and the other person will be the copier. The copier must keep his or her eyes faced away while the explainer draws a series of six to ten shapes/figures on a sheet of paper. Bob is holding a sample, but you can draw any shapes you like. The explainer then tries to describe his or her picture to the copier. The goal is for the copier to recreate the picture exactly on a new sheet of paper. The copier may ask questions but is not allowed to look at the explainer's drawing. When done, switch roles. Now see how closely each copier's drawing resembles the explainer's original picture.

Why did some parts of the drawing match the picture while other parts did not? How does this illustrate how we sometimes communicate with one another?
