Two ropes, small towels or short pieces of lumber.

Tell the team they must cross a boiling river of blueberry yogurt. Mark the banks of the river with two ropes. From one side of the bank, give the group props (small towel or short piece of lumber) to help them cross. Give them one less the number in their group. To keep from passing out due to the yogurt fumes, all team members must stay in physical contact with one another while crossing. If a prop is placed on the river without staying in physical contact with a group member, it will "sink" and the group loses the use of that prop. If a team member touches the river, the team must return to the starting bank, wash off the blueberry, and then try again.

What strategies did the group utilize to cross the boiling river? How could these strategies be used at home to help your family work together?
